Why should I check my Organ & Body Function?

Checking your organ and body function will help you understand your health on a deeper level. Addressing underlying issues early on can help reverse changes and prevent progression.

Organ & Body function tests for:

Thyroid Function:-The thyroid is a gland located in your neck. It produces hormones that help control metabolism. When your thyroid makes too much or too little of these hormones, it affects your entire body.

Lipid Profile:- Lipids are fats that are important constituents of cells and sources of energy. They are necessary for life, but abnormal levels can put you at risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease. High cholesterol usually causes no signs or symptoms, and can only be detected by a blood test.

Renal Profile:- Our kidneys are responsible for removing waste products and excess fluid from our blood. How well they are doing their job can be measured by examining the levels of waste product in the blood as well as levels of electrolytes which regulate fluid in the body and impact cell function.

Liver Function:- The liver is a large organ located in the upper right-hand part of the abdomen behind the lower ribs. It has many functions including storing vitamins, maintaining hormonal balance, processing digested food from the intestine, and getting rid of drugs and toxins.

This test helps determine the health of your liver by measuring the levels of proteins and liver enzymes in your blood. It will indicate if there is damage or inflammation inside the liver.
