Why are testicular self-examinations important?

Testicular cancer is rare but remains one of the most common cancers among younger adults, with an average diagnosis age of 33. While it accounts for a small percentage of overall cancer cases, over one person a week in the UK dies from testicular cancer. Early identification dramatically improves survival and treatment outcomes.

Around 90% of testicular cancers are first found by the men themselves.

Early diagnosis leads to a survival rate of over 95%

A testicular self-check is a simple, non-invasive way to look for early warning signs. It's quick to do and, when repeated monthly, allows you to spot any unusual changes early.
